F18 @Kiel Week: Sach bros dominate, Falcon starts Engine in Europe
Sent by Michael Walther / www.zeroemissions.eu . Images Kieler-Woche FB. — “The international classes started on Thursday at the Kiel week. We had more than 20 knots of wind at race course “Charly” for the Formula 18. The first start was at 1 p.m. and the 40 teams started on time.
The following Friday and Saturday, we had also strong wind with gusts above 25 knots and waves up to 1,8 meter! We started our last two races on Sunday at the TV race course near Kiel Schilksee. Shifty and gusty wind, up to 24 knots where a big challenge for the teams. Helge and Christian Sach have won the Kiel week after 11 races. Arne Gosche and Michael Walther where second with their brand new Falcon F18.
They where the only team who managed to beat Christian and Helge in one race. There will be some interesting races at the world’s next week, we expect!”
