St Barth always deliver.
+ 20knots and big waves, those were the conditions for yesterday at St Barth. The races had a dealy on strong winds but they managed to complete two. Today more wind expected.
Not much analysis to make on a quota registered regatta but good to have the Greeks (World Champs 2018) and Demesmaeker as benchmarks, also Enrique Figueroa, Gavin Colby, Le Clainche-Joubert , Manu Boulogne and Mitch Booth but racing with his daughter this time, still great effort by Rita Booth pushing in the tough conditions for a 10th overall.
On the conditions, that’s the beauty of the F18, A-Cats cannot even start to launch their boats and current foiling cats for amateurs can be a dangerous carnage.
After two races Arg Volker-Mehl (Scorpion/1D) lead followed by Demesmaeker-Gagliani (C2/Goodall), Figeroa-Booth (Scorpion/1D), Gonzalez Smith-Heuser (Scorpion/1D) and Paschalidis-Trigonis (Scorpion/1D).
