F18 Americas 2017 @Alamitos Bay YC: Day 2

All images US F18, full gallery at their fb page.  Ken & Eric Marschack keep leading after 4 races held yesterday at Alamitos Bay YC. Much less wind in some races making the Goodall Decksweeper and the heavy weight crew no problem for the leaders.
Ken is an experienced A-Class sailor too, along many other cat classes and is also a light wind specialist , which is interesting to see on how he and Eric dominated the first day making  Goodall Design new DS till now a well all round solution like Mischa & Stephan showed at Denmark.

Meanwhile the USF18 Class has issued a vote to propose a ban to DS. I will only comment it is a little late to ban when DS sails are being built , ordered and delivered all over the place.

People and the Class mgmnt need to take account that if a sail or equipment pass measurement at a Worlds for ie, and no action is taken against, not even after the event or months later, then the ball is rolling fast and someone will need to repay the investment of those sailors trusting the IF18CA no action and Worlds measurement green light.

Ths is same I said with the  Shockwave foam core, Paint and SI sails which were banned a year later… Ban at will post measurement … but gather a fund to reimburse sailors buying in good faith now.
