For the 2016 nationals we will be taking safety to a much higher level than previous regatta’s.
All crew members are to carry a safety knife on their person at all times. Safety knives will be on sale at the regatta for anyone requiring one.
Compass’s will be mandatory this year without exceptions. The compass does not need to be an
expensive digital version it will however need to be mountable.
Competitors are reminded it is mandatory to carry a 4m x 10mm righting line and a 10m x 6mm tow line on their boats.
The formula 18 association will be involved in racing at the Australia day regatta on Sydney harbor Tuesday 26th January. Competitors will need to send an email to Kyle Amadio expressing their interest in competing at the regatta before the 10th of January. Kyle can be contacted at email@example.com Race fees are included as part of the entry to the national titles.
On Thursday 21st Jan there will be a welcome meal at the Sydney Flying Squadron at approximately 6pm. Friday will be a free BBQ after sailing and Sunday there is a full sit down meal at the SFS. All these meals are included in the entry fee. For those with extra’s wishing to come along to Sundays meal the cost will be $40 and please RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org
Saturday 23rd there will be a spectator ferry available. Tickets cost $20 for the afternoon and can be booked by contacting the SFS via email email@example.com
