F18 NAs 2015: Day 1 , Newberry-Whitehead lead

All images Charlotte Harbour Regatta FB – High winds for the day of racing with only 8 boats completing the first race. Sarah Newberry & Matthiew Whitehead who are currently sailing also Nacra 17, were already top sailors before campaigning for Rio, but surely racing the N17 in the breeze have helped them to get even more control for the F18s as the lighter curved boards Olympic boat is quite challenging to race above 20knots. In this US Nats they are sailing a Goodall Design C2.

John Casey & Colin Page (Infusion) finished second in the only race of the day and Canadians Olivier Pilon & Maxime Loiselle taming the Wildcat for 3rd.
