BA Weekend Summer Session

All Images MV / Catsailingnews.com – While in Australia the Nats are being held in flat conditions at Lake Cootharaba, here in BA yesterday we went for a traditional South East choppy session. Managing to foil the As in these conditions is challenging but as with the F18 or any other class, when you sail in flatter or more open wave conditions after sailing our muddy choppy waters is like a magic carpet ride.

We have plenty of flat conditions also with West, North & East winds , but the ‘Sudestes’ are the most fun and tricky to sail.
Julio Saubidet comes from the Windsurfing background and have been sailing F18 since Day 1, now sailing his Exploder like a Pro in high winds and enjoying big time like Ian Rodger who went with us to Bordeaux.

Kite foiler is Gonzalo Costa Hoevel, one of the top Formula & Slalom windsurfers worldwide.
Giant Alu Cat is “Ice Lady Patagonia” designed and built locally by Nestor Volker.
