Route du Rhum 2014: Peyron leads, Guichard follows

Loick and Guichard showed how good multihull French sailors are during the AC45s series racing for the Peyron bros Energy Team. I labeled them the dark horses and the team ended the season on a peaking performance.  Imagine all that talent on a good design in the past  LV or in next AC35…
But Energy team project has finished as Loick told us in his interview after they invest almost all they had in the venture.

Loick is now part of Artemis for AC35 and there he has another talented young helm to pass his knowledge, Nathan Outteridge.
In the meantime Peyron is racing and leading his Energy teamate / protegé Yann Guichard, who is sailing ex Banque Populaire V, boat Loick sailed around the World for the Jules Verne Record trophy.
