Nacra 17 @Sail Melbourne: Bundock-Curtis champs

First try , first win for Bundock-Curtis in the Nacra 17 Olympic class. And although several young talents were racing, the real test for this new crew will be next year in Europe against the French & Dutch squads among other strong teams. Great transition again for Nina coming from the Womens MR to a light & performance cat like the Nacra 17.

Report from Bundy from his FB page:
“Windy day for the final Medal Race, 25knots, breeze straight off the land, We had to beat Euan McNicol and Lucinda Whitty and in the last lap we were ahead of them so we started to sail very conservatively. The two boats in front of us were still pushing quite hard, but they capsized and left it open for us to win the Medal race. Thanks, we will take that.”
