A-Class: Arrow MKII Tank Testing

CFD has managed to replace model testing in many cases, but how cool is to have your A-Cat being tested like that?

    Yes its full scale. I had been able to test up to 25kn in the towing tank. It one of the fastest facilities available.

    Thilo, how much do shapes like this plane at the high speeds you are testing? I certainly notice there is some dynamic lift from the change in wake on my A. How much does foil assist help? It is great that you are doing empirical testing.
