Eurocat: The Phantom

A Wildcat ‘on steroids’, the Phantom was conceived to participate on the Olympic trials for 2016 with the ‘Flying’ version.

    Are they just taking the piss? They have taken everyone else's hard work and research and cashed in….

    Are you kidding?

    That is what every Manufacture does. Hobie did the hard work and came out with the long boards, so is Nacra now cashing in with the long board up grade? It's called evolution.

    Remember these guys tested 3-4 platforms last year before the worlds they tested different sail, board rudder set ups and came up with the best all round package.

    So I think you could say they have done all the hard work.

    Hard work and research? have you followed SI campaing right here at the blog? As Grantly says your say can be applied to the Infusion for taking feedback on the Cap, the Wildcat taking ideas from these, the C2 from all , and that´s how boats are developed , is called evolution…
