“Yann Guichard’s men proved unstoppable and Groupe Edmond 
de Rothschild has claimed the first round of the 2010 Extreme Sailing Series in Sète, France. The Mistral conditions kicked in bringing the event to an early conclusion but the crowds had been truly entertained – an estimated 16,500 spectators watching the first event. Second place on the podium went to Loick Peyron on Oman Sail Masirah ahead of Paul Campbell-James’ The Wave, Muscat. Britain’s Mike Golding scored two wins on the final day to put Ecover in fourth place overall – a great result for the team, ahead of Franck Cammas’ Groupama 40.”
